If you really hate treadmills, Run and Become do gait analysis out on the street. You have to be ok with trotting up and down while someone frowns at your feet though (a bit like being in Clarks as a child, only without any exciting light-up shoes to beg for).
I went for the treadmill option and it wasn't so bad! Although if I ever do it again I will absolutely consider trotting about on the street under observation!
